Membership in the ACFE Zimbabwe chapter is an addition to the global membership to the ACFE International membership. The Chapter membership year begins on January 1st and ends on December 31st each year. Additionally, our fees are considerably less. The ACFE Membership is open to individuals of all job functions, industries and levels of experience who are interested in the prevention, detection and deterrence of fraud. Our mission is to support you by providing access to the knowledge, resources and training you need to do your job now and at every stage of your career.

The use of Chapter Resources and related LINKS. Holding a Chapter Membership entitles the Chapter Member, Chapter Associate, student, and Chapter Affiliate to a reduced per Chapter Training meeting fee. Membership provides not only discounts on trainings, but access to Member Professional Opportunities to include postings of employment and consulting opportunities. Being a member sets you apart from other professionals with access to current information, business connections and friendships with other professionals. After certification members will receive on top of a CFE certificate, a professional qualification-Advanced certificate in fraud examination NQF 7 registered with SAQA courtesy of ACFE South Africa.

The Chapter has four (4) membership types:

Chapter CFE Member

A Chapter Member is required to be a Certified Fraud Examiner and a member of ACFE. Chapter Members are eligible to vote and hold office in the Chapter. Membership in the Association is required.

Chapter Associate

A Chapter Associate is not required to be a Certified Fraud Examiner but is required to be a member of ACFE. Associates are eligible to vote and hold office in the Chapter. Membership in the Association is required.

Chapter Affiliate

A Chapter Affiliate is not required to be a Certified Fraud Examiner or a member of ACFE. Affiliate Members do not vote and cannot hold a position on the ACFE Board of Directors. Membership in the Association is not required.

Student Member

Students must be enrolled in at least nine semester hours (or equivalent), or graduate students enrolled in at least six semester hours (or equivalent) in an accredited college or university. Student Members do not vote and cannot hold a position on the ACFE Zimbabwe Chapter Board of Directors. (Proof of student status required)
